3231 Elliot Avenue South is a 2 story, stucco duplex built in the early 1900s.  It is located in the Powderhorn neighborhood of Minneapolis, one block from Powderhorn park.  The upstairs unit has 3 bedrooms that are rented to single adults who share a bathroom and a kitchen.  The downstairs 3 bedroom unit is rented to a family.

Tenants who rent the rooms are single adults who agree to house rules restricting after hours guests.  All tenants must be able to live independently.

Rooms are an affordable option for low wage working adults and persons on a fixed income.  Some of the rooms are reserved for long term homeless applicants.  Public funding requires that tenants must earn less than 30% of area median income ($22,050 for single adults, $31,450 for family of 4) at move-in.
